Hi, had my prop off today to fix my handbrake and notice that the rear axle is leaking oil at the seal where the prop bolts on.

What i'd like to know is if i undo the castle nut behind the prop, will the gear pull out or is there a better way to change the seal? I'm guessing i'll need to drain the gear oil before hand.

I have done a quick search but with no luck:(

On the plus side, my handbrake works great now and i fitted new pads on the front :D

if you undo nut remove flange check seal surface on flange ,pry out old seal fit new frc8220 seal with inside filled with grease etc to hold garter spring in place while its been fitted, tighten castle nut tight then move to aline split pin hole
