Having a nightmare with my rear anti roll bar drop links, driving me nuts and wishing I never started as need to get to family for Christmas tomorrow!

Anyway replaced one of the drop links after spending hours getting the old f*cker off. Taken it for a test drive and the piece of crap snapped on the first corner!? I don't know what brand it was as it came with the car when I bought it, previous owner hadn't gotten round to fitting them.

Anyhow all I can do for now is to fit the second one in it's place and hope it doesn't do it again and at least lasts me a couple of days! However the roll bar is now too high to fit the link, no amount of tugging seems to want to shift it, how do I get it down? It does have ACE so knowing my luck that makes it more awkward

Any help appreciated

Cheers David.

It defintely won't pull down, I think the Ace ram went to tense for a corner and because the link had broken it no resistance so has pulled the bar up. Need to loosen it up somehow.

Have given up for today, major pain in the arse but decided to wait until I get two decent drop links and do both at the same time, might make it easier.
