Rear air suspension

Ive just began to noticed a hissing sound from the rear of 53 disco td5 when I stop the engine, it only lasts a few seconds is this normal its only for a few seconds, or is it the air suspension on the rear on the way out, theres no noticable drop in hieght.

It's normal and you should see it drop by about an inch within a few seconds every time you switch off.

Good stuff

if you suspect that they might be leaking, the form is to spray soapy water on them and watch for the bubbles...
