I read on a thread recently where a Range Rover with air suspension all round was showing a light on the dash following a tyre change using a 2 post lift .
It was suggested that the problem was caused by the use of a 2 post where the axles are allowed hang down and the height sensors may need resetting.
Up to recently I've had 300 Tdi's and have been using a 2 post which I bought last year - and enjoying how easier it has made life .
I now have an 01 Td5 7str with rear air suspension and haven't put it on the lift yet - and now I'm wondering will it cause problems with the rear suspension when I do .
Any opinions greatly appreciated .

I dont think so... but dont quote me on it...

I replaced the Ride height sensors and air bags on my TD5 by lifting up the back end of the chassis on some really high axle stands and letting the axle dangle, adjusting the axle height with a trolley jack. No issues there with needing a calibration or reset as a result

Thanks for help , hadn't heard of it before but didn't want to put any lights on etc and the setting of height sensors seemed a dealer only job - and here we keep as far away from them as possible . And forums like this make it possible .
