Rear air bag removal

Help
Having diagnosed a split airbag, been on for two hours trying to get it out.
Removed top and bottom r clips, bottom of bag popped out no problems , but can't budge the top!! Older style bag any suggestions on how to get the top out ?

Spray it with some plus gas leave for a while and use a pry bar between inner wheel arch and top of bag.

I concur! Having recently changed all four ags on my P38 - I had a hell of a game with one of the rears, dislodged the bottom, ripped te bag in half, fashioned a ratchet strap pulley and eventually managed to get it out with a pry bar!

Persistence.........
