Put your location in your profile, then if you have a problem people local could help

check the linkages are ok first, if they are flopping around, it might not be engaging properly, hence the jumping out.
Engage high from the side of the transfer box and see what happens, if its still jumping, its fecked...

Old, 90, knowing f**k all about mechanincs, not a good combination, unless you got deep pockets, or are willing to learn quickly

We know about mechanics lol just #### all to do with landrover defenders in the past it all seems pretty basic engineering so should be ok
