Read Indicator and rear light not working?!

Hello!

I have a Freelander TD4 HSE 2004 (facelift) and the passenger side lower rear light cluster isn't working at all (rear indicator and rear light) I have tried the bulbs with no success does anyone have any advice?

Take it apart and blow any dirt and polish the corrosion off the connector. Also you might have to bend the connectors tab up a bit so it actually touches the base of the bulb, also with ignition on waggle the light cluster whilst it's off the body to see if it comes on as it might just be a loose wire

Forgot to ad that you should turn the lights on whilst doing the waggle test

They get affected by corrosion. Follow Madmustang’s advice, but the problem is also likely to be at the block connector further up the loom (but still accessible from the cluster hole).

If both are dead, it’ll probably be the common earth connection. I’ve found in the past that waggling and cleaning connections will solve the problem temporarily, and had to run new connections up to the cluster to solve permanently.

Guineafowl - I can't seem to find the other connector - is it further inside the bumper?
