i have been registered on here since i first got a landy though i have only recently returned. i am currently on my 3rd landy, the first was a series 3 pickup which was an utter flop and eventually blew itself up and upon closer inspection i found the chassis to be well beyond repair and frankly dangerous. given as the crank had snapped and smashed the gearbox and the bodywork had no panel that was undamaged it ended up as scrap. the current landy was picked up just before the first died and with a bit more knowledge behind me i picked it up as little more than scrap for £400 mainly for the tires and it ended up being recommissioned and has been serving me very well ever since. its now a pretty decent example and is very much based around utility. i have a nerve condition which limits how long i can stand doing some jobs so things take me longer than most people but i get there in the end. so you'll have to be patient with me as i cant always go and check/try out/implement advice right away.
