Re-instating air suspension in an 04 D2

Looking at a V8i 7 seater D2 that has been converted to coils as a replacement for my 03 TD5 D2 with air suspension. I know many have gone from air to coils but know of none who have reinstated air suspension. Sourcing discrete components is not, as far as I can see, an issue, but would it have been possible to unplug the relevant wiring for the air system from the rest of the loom or would it have been an horrible snips-jobs?

Have they removed the pump ect from the plastic box under the passenger door on the chassis im sure everything just unplugs.

I converted one to springs a over a year ago & left everything on it & used a nanocom to switch the suspension settings.

Thanks Kevstar. Not worried about the discrete bits (pump, height sensors etc), it's the loom that concerns me. As it happens, I've been told that the pump has been removed :-( I appreciate that until I look at it I am whistling in the wind but I'm concerned that I might have to make the relevant bits of the loom if they have been snipped :-(

Have a look & see im curious now. lol

generally people don't snip wires, as its all on plugs that can be removed. only thing that usually gets snipped is the pipes, and depending how far back they have been snipped you may need a new pipe harness. You can buy these new from LR for around 130 last time I bought one. And yes I installed air suspension on a d2 I bought that had been converted to coils. Did have to make some new brackets for the height sensors as they managed to snap or cut them off, but simple enough.

Mines been converted from air to springs by Craddocks. I found the receipt in the pack I got with the car. Where is the air compressor for the bags ? and could it have been left in situ, instead of being removed. I know the two rear ride sensors are still fitted.
