Cartoon Jet .40-.46 size prop Airframe. This does fly really well dispite its weight flies fast and smooth and doesn't tip stall due to the nice ammout of washout in the wing. NOT FOR A BEGINNER. If you want a cheap fast rough field plane something different this is for you. Not immaculate has been used a fair bit! Airframe plus fuel tank £30.

Love the piper cub, what ARTF kit was it from?

Had to sell all of mine when I moved out of home, but kept all of the radio gear and engines. Still like to get the little 2-strokes running on the test bench - nothing matches the smell of burning castor oil!!

Are you leaving the sport altogether or just thinning the hangar?

6ft Piper Cub .40 Size RC Airframe | eBay

Not leaving the sport altogether just no time to fly these. I have flown all over Europe in the british team Germany, Holland, Czech Republic over the years flying 1/12 scale aircombat competitions. These old planes don't come close to the excitement of chasing other planes/streamers with the 1/12 scale WW2 planes with a .21 2 stroke screaming at 18000 rpm chasing each other around the sky for 7 minutes full throttle. A pipercub poodling around can get a bit boring!
