Hello, We have a Freelander 2 2008 SE which is making a rattling noise somewhere under the drivers area, sounds like a light tool rattling around when going on bumpy surfaces, doesnt make noise otherwise. Is there a baffle or a plate of some kind which can knock around?
Also the parking sensors dont work, neither does the button on the dash. Could it be a fuse problem?

no one cares about ur freelander, especially since u haven't introduced urself or posted ur woes in the freelander bit.

if u think there's a tool rattling around then get underneath and have a look for it. and if u think a fuse has blown then go check. simples ;)

It's a freelander there's your problem

He only said light tool, not right tool! :D

Does the exhaust run under that side? go underneath and start tapping things such as the exhaust. Perhaps even hitting the wheel - might be the brake pads rattling, or a broken spring etc. etc.

oh and WELCOME I suppose.

Diff.

As long as it rattles, it's still there. If it goes quiet and everything still works fine and you can stop the car when you want, then that was nothing to worry about.

General Land Rover diagnostic procedure. :D:D:D
