Hello,

Anyone experienced rattling from the back boot compartment or rear panels? Not sure where it's located & it doesn't do any harm but it's bloody annoying. I've had the side interior panels off while searching for the cause of the "fish tank" & I believe there were formerly insulation on the inside but seems to have either disappeared or just lost it's padding as such. Can I put new insulation/padding in to stop this? Has anyone had any experience of this?

Thanks

The rear do can rattle, it's normally due to the window cables touching objects inside the door. Best bet is to wrap all cables in self-adhesive foam, and zip tie everything that is flapping about.
The side panels do have a small amount of sound proofing material on them, but you can add more, which is what I did, but to the whole interior, which made an amazing difference.

you can get an irritating rattle from the rear door latch, apparently a couple of small springs rust away, my FL1 has this problem and i need to get round to doing the job although I have got used to the rattle and do not really notice it now it will feel strange when it no longer rattles !!!
