Hi

Now I know before I start this could be a million things but my car seems to make what I think is a rattle noise everytime I pull away. Seems to be when the engine labours a bit. Its fine after ive pulled away. I thought it might have been my brakes but I have had new discs etc. Is there a protection plate or something behind the disc where sh*t can get stuck?

Cheers

The front disks have steel protection plates (that may as well be as much use as paper plates). If these are corroded or bent, it may scrape or rattle against the disk (if you're sure it's coming from that area). The brakes also have small steel clips holding the pads in place, if one of these has been broken/bent/whatever it may also make a noise.

Check you've not got a few stones or pebbles sitting on your undertray that may have been kicked up from the wheels.

Check the rivets holding the plastic part of the undertray haven't come off.
