Rattle from engine round 2700-3000 rpm

Hi all, new to discovery ownership and enjoying it at the moment (hope it lasts) but around 2200-3000 rpm there is a metallic almost tinkerly rattle noise, I can hear it at 2200rpm at a standstill with the door open but it gets louder with more revs so closer to 3000rpm I can hear it whilst driving. I have never revved it past that in case it all goes bang. It's a 52 plate so a 15p engine if that makes any difference. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Mechanical noise is not normal for a TD5.I would recommend removing the cam cover and checking out bolt torques etc on the rocker shaft and injector clamps etc.
If nothing can be found you need to take further advice before something goes expensively wrong.
