I Have A 110 With The 2.286 Petrol With Selectable Four Wheel Drive, She Runs Very Well As I Have Just Rebuilt Her, Even Achieves 70mph ON Motorways On A Run!

Have I missed summat?
wot V8 is 2.286Litres?
wort Deepender dont have selectable 4wd, or are we talking series G/box?
70MPH on a motorway - wot length run?

I think he means that 110's with selectable 4wd were sold to the public. and that his 110 is proof of that fact. As I said in a previous post muddylandy's 110 may well have had a V8 fitted at a later date. Davec seems to think that no 110's with selectable 4wd were sold to the public. I'm not convinced.

I have long held the theory that Selectable 4wd 110s didn't exist outside development vehicles, last year I had this confirmed by what appeared a very reliable source.
Now I'm being shot down in flames!
Do you have any history Global?
Does anyone else out there own one?

Thanks, I'm looking forward to being proved wrong!
I've long maintained you should never say "Land Rover never made that." Looks like I was starting to make that mistake myself.
