Hey,

I believe my defender to be painted in raptor paint (blue colour), I am rebuilding my seat box and belt area and want to paint them the same colour as the exterior but I am struggling to find the same colour in a simple spray can form, do they do spray cans?

If not what is the process of painting with raptor paint? It’s just seatbox, tunnel and foot wells that need painting.

I planned to use etch primer on all items first then do a coat same colour as exterior. Or even a grey or black would do I guess but can’t find that either?

Any other decent types of paint you guys tried and would recommend for hard wearing interior? I plan to have no carpets

Yeah raptor is the brand, couldn’t say exactly what it’s been sprayed with.

I’m thinking just going for black/grey instead to keep it easy. So suppose I’m wanting to know what’s best stuff to use that’s going to last? I don’t have access to compressor, proper guns or indoor area to spray so guessing my only real option is to spray can it

It might be the tintable version. Buy a ltr. Get some tint of the same blue, schultz gun and away you go. Could even roll it on

As @mick the builder , Raptor do a tintable version which works very well ]have used this a few times on car underbodies]. But, and it's a big but, Raptor is a 2k paint :. it has a lot of isocyanate which is highly carcinogenic; so be very careful if you go this route, you need proper fresh air feeds for 2k/isocyanates]. For ease, I'd recommend you either go Raptor 1k black spray can, or, if a std LR colour Paintman can supply proper LR enamel paint to brush paint or use a roller...or they also supply in spray cans.
