HI ALL. HOW'S YOUR HEADS !
Has anyone had this problem without having a drink !
when on a straite at around 50 mph she wonders from side to side like as if you was on a worn motoway running the tranlines
the tyres are at correct pressure and at standstill with the wheels in straite possision there is only slight play but on half lock there is considerable more play befor the wheels move is this normal i dont think there is any play in the steering link rods as it past the last MOT ok do these steering boxes have a worm & pinian in them as i know in the old cars you used to get this problem but you could tell this from almost standstil
anyway any ideas will be wellcome. many thanks. :beer2:

so it,s a bit like min then, ive had most of the steering componants changed, but im going to swap the rear wheels to the front to see if that might make any difference, before i spend any more money, looking into it,i,ll post back when ive done that:confused:

Does any one know if the steering box on a p38 have an adjusting screw on them to take the play out of them, I did this on my shogun and it made the steering feel alot better,

yes it does it,s a 17mm nut with an a 5mm allan key scre in the middle of the nut, clockwise takes the play out,you can just get to it ok even though the bottom of the battery/ecu tray is slightly in the way;)
