rangey not rising

hi all me again
my air suspension is playing up, it rises when it wants to,and i have just had to drive it on it bump stops!!!!! any ideas? please

i would get a eas lead of ebay bout £20 and download the software here

I assume it is not displaying any text in the message screen and that the EAS level indicator is flashing showing on normal and the bump stops light is lit, showing that it is trying to rise?

More than likely a very worn out seal in the EAS compressor, relatively easy and quite cheap to fix with a new seal off of gaybay.

mines just gone onto the bump stops
i need a new air bag on the rear, it just blew on me an hour ago! grrrrrrr
note to self! do not overload car with paving slabs

after my last post things seemed fine, but it started again yesterday,and when i turned car off i could hear hissing from rear end, is this the prob? why its dropped on its bumps again.

there are many things it could be and im sure others will list all the possible/usuall causes as its a very common fault with RRs....i suggest you take it to your local garage(doesnt have to be a LR dealer)and ask them simply to tell you whats'gone'and then take it from there as to who/what repair....like i said,its very very common and all the parts are easily available

if its hissing then you need to get it sorted asap! get it back up to normal height and spray all the pipes and air bags with soapy water and look for bubbles-showing a leak. i would say at a guess rear air bags? all your going to do is put the pump under strain and knacker that up or the seal as its working harder...leaving problems unfixed will just cost you more in the long run..if it is rear air bag i would replace both..did both my rears 2 weeks ago £55 each pluss new clips..
