I think it really does depend on the area your in and where the cars are kept at night etc, Im 22 and have 5 years no claims but I have a range rover classic ( 93 ) and a series on my insurance this come to a total of £1200 a year, so 600 a car, it is expensive, but then Im still under the 25 bracket. have u guys tried being quoted for off road parking, alarms etc. does it bring the price down at all?

my insurance is for garage parking, stock range rover alarm/imobliser etc.. with full vehicle tracking system, and its still £208 a month, at least its better than before i was 21 as before i could not even get it insured lol

What a mish-mash of insurance quotes...At 42 and always driving company car having never actually owning a private car(No no-claims), I was shocked with quotes ranging from £700 to £1500...I ended up getting my 4.6l HSE on a "classic insurance" for £290 which also allows me take it green laning:)

Bell Direct are always the cheapest for me.

I'm constantly impressed at just how competitive they are every year.

On the very rare occasions when someone else quotes slightly cheaper, they always beat them. The missus is with them too and they're the same for her.

Bloody hell who's that with, I'm in a similar situation, not having had a car insured in my own name for over ten years, I was quoted a wide spread between £500-£1500 for a 2000 4.6 Vogue parked off road in Wiltshire, I tried Performance Direct for a classic quote, they weighed in at £1.1K, ended up with Admiral at 500, but on their 10 month year, which gives me a years nc two months early.
