Range Rover Td6 Misfire/ Stalling

Hello people,
I have a range rover L322, Year 20/3, Td6 Engine. The car has been misfiring lately and stalls even when idle. Fault "misfiring in cylinder 1" was displayed. Changed the first and second injector, still it misfired and stalled. Car would not turn on sometimes, just keep Stuttering. After some mins, upon ignition, it starts then stalls again. HELP PLEASE.

I take it you have changed the fuel filter and checked the fuel pumps are working?

Had the same problem on a 2005 vogue TD6 plus no power under load, everybody and their granny diagnosed it, gearbox/turbo/new engine... scrap it the usual give us your money stuff. Auld farmer two farms up, had a look sat in revved it a bit, drove it 20 yards, turned her off, got out, be back in 30 mins, came back with an EGR delete kit, £30 on Ebay, fitted it in 10 minutes, motor has never looked back runs like dream...and he only took a bottle of malt off of me, might be worth a look

Changed the fuel pump and filters, it stopped Stuttering. The only issue i have now is that the engine shuts off when the gear is shift to drive. HELP PLEASE

When you put load on she stalls, disconnect hose going into egr, the big hose, see what happens, you have checked egr is not stuck or manky ?

There's no EGR on it, still at repair shop. But the EGR is clean when they removed it

she stalls in the repair shop ?, would be totally amazed if any egr that age was clean

There's no EGR on it right now.

Did you have the injectors checked before replacing them?
Injectors must be cheap to change without verification...
Have them all checked and then you can rule them out.
Have you done a leak off test?

yes you said, so ehy is there no egr on, if it’s ok, why id it off, is it still stalling with no egr on ?

Yes, changed the injectors. They said maybe the switch on the pump is faulty. I really don't know.

The engine only shuts off when the gear is placed on drive.

Yes, as I said, under load...which would indicate a possible air starvation problem...or...is it stalling with the egr removed also ?

Yes, it is stalling with the EGR removed

What does it idle at, and does it idle at normal rpm, have they taken a live reading from the turbo at idle ? can it be heard spooling when revs applied ?

Yes, it idle at normal RPM, no spooling heard when revs applied
