May be the immobiliser, you could try reading the owners manual if you haven't already done so as to the procedure for disconnecting/reconnecting the battery.

Also sounds daft , have u checked the battery is ok

Unless u mean it turns over and won’t start

Without a code reader you are chasing your tail. We could all give suggestions but you really do need diagnostics.
In the meantime check the engine earths.
Now have the car running, But the Air susspension keeps blowing off & not raising !!! Thank you.

Glad to hear it's running. What was the solution? As to the new problem, I cannot stress enough that you need diagnostics. You are asking people to guess at a problem they cannot see, with very little information. Please help us to help you. Don't forget , we are all real people, with real lives, doing this to help other owners. No-one gets paid, to help those who need it. So you have to do some of the work.
Describe the issue in detail " the Air susspension keeps blowing off & not raising", with lots of exclamation marks is not detail, it's drama. Calm down, tell us the issue. Get diagnostics, tell us the codes . Then the Gurus and apprentice Gurus may be able to help you.

Plus 1 what @gold rover has mentioned

In the mean time , so we know plse , is ensure u have no leaks, use some soapy water and check all ur connections around the air compressor , pipes etc etc

Also if ur son intends to keep his RRS having ur own diagnostics is key , pays for themselves very quickly along with the convenience

S'not a Disco. Though it is really ;)

Hi Sorry for the lack of information. The info i had was second hand. I have been round to have a look at what is going on, The Car started after disconnecting the fuel pipe & reconnecting. What is happening with the suspension is, The front end will raise then you hear a discharge of air from the rear of the car, but not from the air bags. the compressor keeps pumping air, then it will discharge again every 10 to 15 seconds, the rear of the car does not raise at all.
I Jacked the rear up & put axle stands under it. started the car, the front went up & compressor stopped, Did not discharge any air. The dash said ride height met. We had a Code reader on it & No Codes!! I hope this helps. Thank you for your Time & patience.

Sounds like a valve block problem or a leak.

Hiya

You’ve got a leak, use some soapy water round the air compressor

Enclosed a pic of the pipes and ur see from the reservoir valve block where it goes to the rear

Also if I may say , u should never jack the vehicle up without disabling it , u might have done some damage to the suspension system , but might have got away with it

When u jack them up in future , u set the suspension into off road height, turn the engine off, pull fuse F26 under the bonnets fusebox , then u can jack it up and think ur already aware , with these vehicles never ever get under them without axle stands

When finished and the vehicle is back on the ground axle stands removed, be careful when u reinstall the F26 fuse as the landy will drop to access height

If I may suggest m remove jack and axle stands , start the engine , raise the suspension , turn the engine off and listen for any leaks

What make of compressor did u fit please

Hope that’s helps

It was a Like for like AMK, Have checked for leaks around compressor, all fine...& with the engine off, can not hear any leaks. The release of air sounds like it discharges somewhere around the big plastic box above the axle/chassis area. I have checked for leaks where ever i could, but not found any. Thank you.

Air release will be the pressure release valve I would guess. Have checked the rear airbags with soapy water and all the joints?

Thks,

Did the AMK come with a cover for it , if so , remove the cover, start the engine up and lay next to the landy and See if u can hear anything

also check that the pressure sensor wire connector is plugged in on the reservoir valve block, it’s the one next to the compressor

Near the rear of the landy is a large silencer, so when the exhaust valve opens it discharges the air near the back

Does indeed sound like it can’t build pressure up because the pressure sensor isn’t getting the correct signal

Hope that helps
