All,

Good morning, I hope you are well and thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have a 2009 Range Rover Vogue L322, which I need to change the rear brake pads and discs on. I was able to remove the brake pads yesterday, however the brake discs were sticking on the electronic handbrake shoes on the inside of the discs. Is there a way to back off the handbrake shoes without hooking up the car to a computer to do this electronically? Also, can the handbrake shoes be reset manually once the new discs are on also?

Thanks for your assistance.

Andy

Looking at the manual - the offical way is to use diagnostics to drive the handbrake shoes to the mounting position to remove the disc....

That being said, in the attachements, image 3 shows the manual adjuster cog, which *could* be backed off to permit disc removal...
