Hello folks,
Can anybody help me with this problem: 2001 RR 4.6 petrol. Drives perfectly until you give it a good blast up the road and then it will start holding back, almost like it is running out of fuel. New engine fitted, well serviced, thought it might be fuel filter but am told it does not have one. Help! Wife now refuses to drive it. I am starting to hate the thing, RR that is!

a good way to check if its the motor or tranny prob. is if it revs up in park its prob.the tranny not shifting correctly.if it dont rev up nice and smooth then its more likely a motor prob.in that case good luck it could be a number of things.
