range rover p38 starting problem when cold air bubbles in clear pipe

new to this forum,had my p38 1999,for four years and had no problems starting it , untill last month.clear pipe next to fuel filter got air in from cold,takes awile to start ,changed return pipes on injectors ,and fitted a none return valve just before the fuel filter.no better,been told it could be the fuel tank pump pipes.any body had this problem.cheers tony

Check the O rings either side of the fuel filter.
