Hi every1, i havnt posted in a while as i sold my td5 disco for the money towards my deposit on our house, now ive got all my deposit im looking at selling or swapping my 2004 mondeo zetec tdci 6 speed for a landrover. ive been offerd a few 300tdi discos also a 1999 range rover p38 4.6 hse with multi plug lpg system fitted. i much prefer diesels but im tempted with the rangey, which would return most economy? i know neither are great on fuel lol.

personally i find the split tailgate on the rangerover a pain in the butt... the door on the disco 1 is far more user freindly for me.
 
i dont mind spending time but obviously dont wanna be spending a lot of money. ill stick with diesel and buy mi self a welder lol. went to have a look at a 300tdi today, lovely looking motor, nice and solid, all went tits up when he fired it up as it was knocking like mad. Bloke tried telling me its normal pmsl
