Hi i will have a look today. Just a thought could this be down to injector copper seals?
Only if you get either diesel leaking past the injector into the injector well, or a blow by of combustion gases which you would hear as a chuffing sound, shouldnt cause sudden drop off of power.....just increase in noise and diesel smell.

OK thanks. Just went to start it and now won't start up. Only thing I've done in seal on sensor?
 
I'd have the injectors tested at a professional outfit. They could be faulty at pressure or even the pump.
They can as we know, test them and monitor them more precisely than any obd reader and can easily rule them out. If in doubt pull em out. :)
 
I understand that shenan', did the fpr go back into its original position and does it respond to being unplugged and plugged back in with the ignition on?
 
Good, now check if you can and see if the fpr responds when you remove the plug and replace the plug with the ignition on.
Also with diagnostics can you get a fuel pressure reading at all when you crank the engine?

Just been out to look at it and bloody thing started up with live view of pressure
