Hi
Im now convinced its the cooler leaking so am going to block off the EGR altogether. SO some more questions
Is egr removal legal?
Will the car pass an MOT
Should i leave pipework in place and just block off so it looks normal?
How do I get a EGR patch for remapping if I buy one go the GAP IID tools
If i don't install the patch will the car work once blocked off or will there be error messages ?

Removing the EGR is not legal but as long as it all looks as though it's there it will pass the MOT
An earlier post told you where to block it and it needs a software patch, reference earlier posts #18 & #20 which you must have missed. The re-map will have to be done by someone with the right equipment not your GAP IID.
