Greetings everyone !

I have read much good advice from these pages so I thought it about time I joined up !
I have a 1990 RRC with a 300TDI, Borg Warner transfer mated to a five speed manual. I have poly bushed it and fitted (what I thought) where heavy duty standard height springs.
I have just fitted a winch and rock sliders (santa was good to me !) but since fiting the winch I have found out that my so called heavy duty springs arnt up to the job and I bottom out very quickly.
I am keen to stay at standard road height as I tow very heavy trailers about and going up causes issues (or does it ?), Plus I have just bought all new shocks...so dont want to have to buy more to go higher...

So has anyone got any advice for some stiffer springs - or do I have to lift it up to handle the extra weight ?

Cheers

Nick

You need to know what you have on there before hand really, however, I would suggest that you look about for a set of 220lb/ft springs for the front.

A cheap alternative is to fit some spacers to restore ride height.
