Range Rover Classic Speedo Backlight Bulb

Hi all,

I need to get a replacement bulb for the backlight of the speedo. Looks liek the bulb behind the right hand side of the speedo is working fine, but hard to see the lower speeds at night so presumbly a blown bulb behind it.

It may be a bulb.... but more likely to be one of the "optic feeds" to the area.
the bulbs feed light down these to the certain areas.
when you take it out you will see what I mean.
Make sure they are seated properly and everything wll illuminate fine.

might sound silly but you know the back light is adjustable?play with the dimmer switch

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Classic.
When you take the Binnacle cover off, pop outside and look at the back of the speedo cluster.
You will see all the bulbs and bayonet holders, Do this at night with your inginition and lights on and you will see the ones not alight.
(About 15 lamps)

When you go to get spare lamps take a sample with you and compare the replacement carefully with yours, I have found a lot of similar bulbs but they don't fit.
If the optic lamps have gone I think they are under the gear lever panel.
