The rear calipers on my lightweight coiler are seized and while i could refurb or replace them im not 100 % sure what they came off

I suspect i have RRC running gear (axles have cast hub caps not plastic)

Looking online RRC and 200 disco rear calipers look the same as mine but have different part numbers so will they both fit

Not yet looked at the fronts but i may aswell ask if i can fit either type there too

A bigger clue would be what holds them on to the axle?
normal hex bolds or double hex bols? Thats a good clue if they are imperial of metric brake pipes.
Metric calipers fit old axles but Imperial ones wont fit unless you drill out the mounting holes to allow the metric bolts to fit. Obviously you need a matching brake pipe end :)

The long and the short of it is....they all fit with a drill and the correct brake pipe :)

Fronts? how many brake hoses to each caliper? early rangies had 2 hoses to each caliper.

Normal hex bolts hold them on ,i plan to put new nuts on the pipes anyway as the brake pipes are newish copper but i chewed the nuts up getting them off

Not got the front wheels off yet so not sure how many brake pipes

I tryed a 12mm bolt in the fixing hole and it doesnt fit so i must have 7/16 bolts ,would calipers listed for RRC 84-93 and disco 89-93 use imperial bolts as id rather not drill them

The mertic bolt is bigger. You need to drill out the imperial calipers to fit. If you have 7/16 bolts metric calipers will fit without drilling.

Dont know about dates of change.
