Looking to purchase a raised air intake for a 2001 TD5.
I have heard that some are restricting the airflow on TD5 engines but I have no details of what to avoid and the price range is huge like from £50.00 to £450.00.
Not wanting a plastic jobby would prefer the round metal type, seen this anyone used on of these?

I have the one for a 200 tdi. it's been on there for about five years and dose the job. It's looking a bit faded now but so is my Defender. Just saw this one on ebay.

I think if I was doing it again i would go for a Mantec one. I would prefer the classic mushroom type as opposed to the one below

Yes me to, this one http://www.greenmachinesurplus.com/land-rover-300tditd5-snorkel-kit-stc50265-2027-p.asp described as a genuine Wolfe means nothing to me. Would it be metal or plastic and what diameter should I be looking for because as I said I hear some are restricting airflow so I guess those will have a smaller diameter of tube leading to the cyclone.
