raining in

hi all disco owners. im having a problem with water getting in through the roof somewere. has anyone came across this problem??? my disco is an 02 gs model with twin sunroofs and rail bars. i dont want to pull out all the roof linning if i can help it as it looks a big job. any easy answers anyone???????? cheers...frizzy...
p.s. its filled up the interior light also and the wife is nagging me to fix it incase it shorts out and causes a fire, lol ive raised her life insurance ....

Sounds like a sunroof problem, but before taking the roof lining down, check your windscreen seal. Mine had a 1/4" gap @ the top corner, filled it with silicone, no problems there since.

I had a problem with water coming in the roof somewhere. Typical wet roof and puddle in the driver's footwell. Couldn't find it so took the headliner out as it's sagging and I want to sort that out too.

Found the bugger leaking to the side of one of the rear sky windows. Little bit of sealant this weekend did the trick. Dry footwell this morning after a night of it ****ing down.

Now just to tackle the headliner job.

You can always tell if it's been raining the night before with all the sunroof problems that's end up on here
