P38A radio

hi I have a p38 diesel 1999 November . my radio works but the display no longer shows so I cant not recode it . if I get a second hand radio is it just a straight forward job of old one out new one in ?

As long as it comes with the code.If it's a Clarion you an have it repaired and fully serviced by Clarion for £100 ish. Do a search I posted the address and phone number last year.I'll look for it if you cannot find it.

I don't think it matters wether you can see the display as long as you put in the correct code.

Hi no it will still work , but I can't put in the code with out the display it seems

ok I will look for that , I will also have to find what radio it is as the hand book shows a different one to the one that's in there . thank you

you where right it works , I looked on the clarion site and it showed how to entre the code . I think I will get them to refurbish it if it's cheap enough, it's nice to have thing working properly . thanks all you come up trumps once again
