hi have 2005 range sport sat nav screen flickering, like interference, told by dealer screens had it ,but some days works for hours, which seems like loose connection any one had this problem,or is the dealer honest

Never ends does it?

Salisbury based 2003 L322. No audio on anything. Have checked the audio box fuse and main fuse and they are both fine. Sadly don't have a spare unit to test system out with.

Also, Nav unit stays on after computer has shut down and is causing (i think) a power drain. I had to jump it last week. Maybe this caused the audio issue? Amp box is new.

Question, would any of you kind gurus recommend a hard restart by flashing across the battery terminals? I'm told that this action hard boots the computer, putting right issues such as the above.

Any other advice warmly received Also tea and biscuits are freely available :) But keep off my Hobnobs!

Hi, am new to the forum. Have had my L322 for 5 years without a problem now they've come along in bucket loads! No seriously!

First I had a battery drain which needed me to jumpstart almost everyday. Jumpstarting blew my amp (I believe) as I have the satnav/ radio/ tv/ working but no sound at all. Then the cd thingy spits the cartridge out all the time. So I was skint & didn't have the money to fix it. Just stopped using the car for a month or 5 weeks (ish). Came back to it now the ABS/ Traction Control Lights won't go off on the speedometer along with 'Air Suspension Inactive' & 'HDC Inactive' scrolling along the bottom. I have taken to a few reputable garages including a Land Rover Specialist who have all told me 'sorry, the car won't communicate with our diagnostics or computers so we can't see what the problem is' although the LR Specialist did tell me that I have a leak as all the drains on the car were blocked (due to having to park under a tree). Cleaned the car thoroughly and put a (bouncy castle) blower in the car to dry it all out. Still have a tiny leak somewhere (I suspect it is at the body joint in the petrol filling point as a lot of rainwater gathers there).

Sorry for such a long post... the bottom line here is... Somebody please help!
Am based in Coventry if it makes any difference. Have already spent a fortune on it!!! Not funny!

Tea & Buscuits... I got curry & chips with a cold pint of Stella to put it right!!! :beer2:

Rangies don't like being jump started let alone jump started everyday

I do hope you haven't fried the ECU or something :(

If you were closer I would come out to try and help

Low battery volts is a common cause of a lot of error messages. If it was left for 5 weeks with a flat battery, odds are the battery is shot.
