Disco 2 radio problems !!!

Hi all.
i wonder if some one can help with my problem.
i have a 2002 TD5 2.5 with harmon cardon sound system,
my problem is that if i leave the car for a day or so the radio will not play , it lights up but no sound,it can take up to half an hour before it comes on and there ius a loud crack like a stone hitting the windscreen.
i have changed the amp , and the internal fuse box ( drivers side ) and also the relay that powers the radio..
has anyone any ideas please... its getting to me

Hi, IMO you should have changed the head unit in the first place

My after-market, face offhead unit does a similar thing. I have come to the conclusion it is simply damp getting into it.

I can't say for sure just that it's the first suspect for this symptom

well seeing as i have changed every thing else it would seem its the next logical step.
thanks for the input, dont suppose you have one for sale ??,, you never know your luck in a big world
