L322 radio power button flashing orange

hi guys.
im new to the l322 and just noticed when i get out of the car and lock it my orange led on the power on-off dial for the radio flashes same as the red led on mirror for security,is this normal or something wrong or perhaps need to change radio settings.??
Please help as dont want battery going flat or low then start other issues.

Does it flash constantly or just for a few moments then off??

flashes for cpl minutes then goes off also noticed radio will work with no keys in ignition

All my Rangies at some point have had a Bull Bar.....I prefer the look of them...others hate them, its a Marmite thing I guess.....



As for the lamp.....aslong as it goes off I wouldn't be too concerned....

Is yours a late 2004 54 plate? Does it have the touch screen SatNav? If so, it could indicate the Map DVD drive is running its last minute things before it shuts down....the earlier L322's without the Touch Screen have the drive in the boot...and the lamp on that flashes after switch off as it does its final read/write before shutting down.
