Radio noise

Hi Everyone,
Have a 2a Diesel Safari with a 200 tdi under bonnet. Just got radio wired up all ok but loads of crackling noises just like we used to gt years ago without suppressors on. Have done the earths on both the unit and aerial which were bit slack but no different. Any ideas good folks please?

If all grounds are good, check that a supressor is fitted to your alternator. Usually mounts externally and connects to the back of the unit via a spade terminal.
