Radio Code... Suggestions??

Just a quick one... unplugged my battery today to do some electrical stuff...

needless to say the radio now wants me to put a code in to verify it to the car (something to do with getting stolen or something) but i cant for the life of me find the 4 digit number...

anyone got any ideas of where to get the number? will try Land Rover tomorrow but they dont usually have anything to do with the older cars these days...

its for a '53 plate Disco 2

Have you had it from new,did you get any paperwork with it,it could be wrote down in there somwhere with your key code.

It will be the last 4 numbers from yer vin plate.

edit: I is taking the ****. Ask in the discovery section as they will know for sure if there's a way round the code or what to do to get a code.

ring land rover, thats what I did when I lost mine the other month and mines a 2004 defender, they gave it for free unlike mercedes, robbing fuxks wanted a tenner, I laughed at the guy and said ill buy a new radio you robbing moron

yeah ill def give them a ring in the morning now i know they sorted out your older one.

All sorted now... Got the code from Hunters in Southampton... Didn't even charge me which was a bonus!
