It's Harmon kardon on speaker on dash doesn't say anything on radio

Have had this a long time ago so memory is a bit vague.
It sounds that you haven’t got the correct number?
Has the unit been changed (not the sort of thing you would ask when you buy) each unit has its own number.
If I can drag out what I did
,
Each unit has a number and you can get number online, couple of £s. You need serial number of the unit.
I also see Data is on the job so your in good hands.

Phone your nearest dealer tomorrow. Give them your registration and they will have the code. You may have to go in with log book. Or if lucky, theyll give you it over the phone.
P.s might be handy to know if you have a 51 or 52 on your plate

You still need to know if you have an Alpine or Clarion head unit although the dealer should know. Your owner manual pack should have details of which radio is fitted.

The more you try, playing around with it the longer it will make you wait. Switch it off and leave it overnight and see what it says in the morning.

P.s my bad , meant to say code may have been changed at some point and dealer can give you original code. Only guessing here.

Just out of curiosity , what's the longest you've left it switched on, with the wait error showing?

The "Wait" increases the more times you get it wrong I think, but sitting there for a month suggests its fubar'ed.
if its the original radio as fitted by the factory then LR dealer can confirm the radio-code.

If the code is entered incorrectly there is a wait period before a code can be entered again....
