not wrong ,but like i said at the time,if i wanted to get up to anything,probably not the wisest of moves to be driving a vehicle thats sticks out like a f*****g sore thumb!!:D
 
I know it says in the manual to take the fan shroud off the rad before removing it. But I found that with a little care it's possible to lift out the rad with the shroud still attached!

Once you've got the rad out of the vehicle and you can get a screwdriver on the shroud at a sensible angle, the screws should come out reasonably easily with either a screwdriver of mole grips.
