radiator cap

what psi radiator cap should a v8 have?,my old rad had a 15 psi cap and the new rad i just bought has a 7 psi cap.

I too would be interested in knowing this. Also how would you know what cap you have? Baring in mind I have a retro fitted engine in mine, prior to me having it, and have little idea about what was in there before!

the psi will be stamped on top of the cap

on a v8 use a 15lbs radiator cap.

Was the rad sold specific to the engine? Should be the same as your old un.

Not if yerv fitted a V8 in a Series it wun't.

I read it as he had a v8 and changed the rad on the v8. so should be running the same press. It's the rad was replaced not the injun.
