im in the process of building up a 88 3.9 v8 auto. i have come to the rad the original rangie rad had 2 built in oil coolers one for engine oil one for tranny oil. thing is this rad is too wide to fit between the 90s wings. i was thinking of fitting a 90 v8 rad with two remote oil coolers and would have to find space for 2 of them or i could fit a 2.5 td rad with one inbuilt oil cooler and only have to find space for 1 remote oil cooler but would the 2.5 td rad give enough cooling too the mighty V8 or has any one any other ideas

hi mate

in my 6.2 v8 i use a td rad with 2 kenlowe fans, the built in oil cooler cools the engine oil and it has a remote rad for the auto mounted in front of the td rad. This seems to keep the engine cool so you shouldnt have a problem.

hope this helps
