ok, 1999 2.5td auto.
anyone bought and changed their radiator in the last year who can/should'nt recommend any particular make.
there are some HD all aluminium ones on fleabay, question of baffle inserted!!
ok, fire away.o_O

I went with Grrrrrs recommendation a month or so ago. Temp gauge stays where it was before so assume that its doing its job. Only issue was that the retained nuts located at the bottom of the rad were missing so driving about with it unsecured at the bottom.

Also a great opportunity to change all your belts as you have so much space to work, can do both in 10-15 mins max.

I brought I new air con rad off eBay as it was cheap, the aircon didn't work and wasn't gassed.
It fitted ok but the captive nuts for the electric fans don't line up so could fit the fans, not that it matters as it's still not gassed and won't be, but the old one was rotten and didn't think I could put it back together without the air con rad in place.

That seems to be a common problem. Hella are about the same price from AllParts or similar and you can take it back.
