Hi guys just in process of changing heater o rings and taking dash to bits ect and iv found a radio tx card with racelogic on it that under steering colum! It's hard wired back to my gearbox ecu via a four core cable though a gromit into ecu??? I'm puzzled any one any idears?? Also my steering wheel has a cut out in the right hand side between wheel and windscreen controls and has a 9v pp3 battery connector?? Help what is it all for :) ps my sport mode doesn't work right it don't change gear and the revs drop away back to idel no matter what speed your doing when u take your foot off the gas! Any help would be great. Si

iv just inspected the card a bit more looks like it changes the gears maybe??? its got a ground connection and 12v connection and a up and down connection ....

Makes me smile...all the sophistication of the P38 electrics..and the problems that go with them, and someone feels they can make it better!!! Personally, I would rip it out, put the wiring back to original and leave it as it was designed without adding additional potential problems. Maybe I'm an old fart but why people change the P38's to something that they aren't is beyond me. The car has traction control, manual shift and sports mode, what more do you want. I know...sports car performance, 0-60 in 4 secs. and 50mpg consumption, Get real.. it's a 4.6 V8, you know that when you buy them and cannot expect to change it to a Nissan Micra running cost.

If you can't stand the heat..get out of the kitchen!!:behindsofa:

i know ive been in a giddy mood all w/end so far! dunno why, prolly the news that i might be getting paid out for the tit who wrote my cabriolet off last year.

i quote:

I have recently spoken to one of the claims managers at Highway Insurance who are representing the third party.

I have again reiterated our stance on liability and our intention to attend Court if necessary.

Off the record, I was advised they had recently written to their client suggesting he admit liability in this instance due to the strong evidence submitted by ourselves on your behalf.

They are hoping to get back to me at the beginning of next week as they are required to get their client’s instruction to proceed.

hopefully i'll get paid out in range rover parts!!!!
