I am in process of replacing a 2.5TD - LT77 with a 300TDI - R380 set-up with Shortie Bell-housing.
My questions are:
Which clutch push rod do I need to purchase ?
One didn't come with the gearbox and the existing LT77 one is corroded and needs replacing rather than reused. The one I have is 92mm long.
Also; the Land Rover Parts Diagrams for the clutch release mechanisms each show a "Backing/Packing Plate" being used between the slave cylinder and bell-housing flange. There was not one fitted on my original LT77 set-up. Do I need to order and fit the correct one of these as well ?
and
I have will fit a new slave cylinder and have a new 300TDI one in hand, are there any significant differences and will this one fit or alternative need to be purchased.
Thanks
