evening all, need some help here!!

just fitted an R380 box from a manual v8i and its going into my v8i disco - now this is where i need some help, my disco was an auto - now is in process of being a manual.

The box i have got has two oil feed inlet/outlet pipes on the pasenger side of the box (where they are if the box is fitted to the disco) Now, do i need to plumb these pipes in sseeing as the box is going to be mated to a v8? or can i just blank them off or fit a return pipe?

What are they for and whats the best thing to do??

I attatch an image of a V8 R280 box that is amost identical to mine save for the fact this one is pristine and mine looks like its been dragged thru a mud pit!!

They go to the oil cooler behind the front grill, also was your's a auto before because that would of ran though the radiator too. The oil cooler is the long pipe with fin's on it. Hope this helps regards Steve.
