there is a oring sealing the oil pump in but they generally only leak if theres another issue like a worn rear bearing or excessive end float on lay shaft

Can't feel any play at all, it just looks iffy with the crap around it, can't really tell where the leak was coming from and don't want to do the job twice.

you wont be able to feel any in layshaft only the main, seems wet above indicating rear seal might be leaking, if you want to remove pump just unscrew the 3 larger headed screws

When I took the transfer box off the input seal had fell out which was odd, so couldn't pin point where original leak was from, is the oil pump easy to get out ??
From searching some mention it pushes out from the inside !!! Thanks.

it can be fairly stuck , once the screws are removed use 2 suitable sized pin punches to place in 2 holes and use a screw driver or lever between them to twist it out
