The usual message is windows not set sunroof not set but havent heard of market not set
to set the windows and sunroof just wind each one down in turn and rewind up and that should set them

Unless you know someone with a Nanocom for your car yes. Not usual to get that after reconnecting battery.

Ha! Seems that the electrical gremlins have arrived......not only do I have this 'Market not set' message, but also, none of the interior lights work (have tried the 3 second press button trick to no avail) and neither front doors lock or unlock with the fob, although the rear doors do and the alarm sets....puzzled.com....thanks ovalandrover, windows have been done!!!

If you've got good voltage from your battery and alternator and your under bonnet fuse box is in good condition and your floor isn't damp and you haven't done anything stupid like knock a plug out anywhere or blow a couple of fuses the I think that it might be time to talk to Rick the Pick.

Rick the Pick?.....don't have and dampness in the footwells and everything else appears ok, it's just the two front doors and the interior lights....I am so confused!!!!

Market not set makes it sound like the BECM has thrown a wobbly, Market is one of the many settings in the BECM for example USA or Europe etc it would seem it has been corrupted. If an event of some sort has corrupted that setting, then it is likely other settings have been corrupted. It is not likely you will be able to sort it without diagnostics, and even with diagnostics you may not be able to fix it. Time to PM Rick The Pick, the main place for fixing corrupted/dead BECM's:)
