Quick 300tdi wiper motor mounting question...

The strap that goes around the motor - its not clear (to me) from the manual -

This mounts using m6 bolts - but into what?

It looks like my old bulkhead may have had captive nuts, but on the replacement one i need some sort of captive nut strap thing at fourteen quid?

FIXING PAD 150844

I cant think that anyone else does that, so im guessing some sort of trickery with spanners up behind the metalwork?

You need a special tool, dont you?

Just had another look - there's a small hole where you can get a ring spanner up, with the nut and washer held on with grease.

Ill just do that, and save the £14.

(this is one of those ones where i should have looked better before asking)

Ideally, yes - but you can set them without the tool... easy if you can get to both sides, but still possible if you can't using double nuts to hold studding, and another nut to set the rivnut...
