Questions

Hi all,
Just acquired a Freelander after many years with Rover cars and have just introduced myself to the forum.
As you might expect, I have a few questions but must say that I am absolutely delighted with it. It is a 2002 Td4 with a few extras that I did not expect, the mirrors are powerfold and is it possible to have them fold on switching on the ignition and open up on switching on? also what items are possible to enable/disable using a T4?
I suspect there may well be other questions but won't be greedy at this stage!

Yep auto fold mirrors available, and auto lock doors when you start to move orf too. Single entry drivers door unlock only when first pressing the remote to unlock, then second press unlocks all doors.

Welcome to the forum. Just ignore the tratter boys as they is durdy un pick on Freelanders un their owners.

I've seen it done on Mk3 Mondeos, where the mirrors were linked to the remote, just a few bits of wire and another relay to add, you can get the idea of what's involved here just to give you an idea of what's involved, the principle will be the same, I think the mirrors have a permanent live.
